The story of the Garden in Genesis 3 is one of harmony and goodness, of relationship and trust. But something goes horribly wrong. Humanity doubts the goodness of God. In other words, why do we, like Adam and Eve, doubt that God has our best interests in mind? The reality is this: we serve a good God who wants what is best for us. And even when we turn from him, he is still waiting patiently for us to return.
